We’ve now implemented a feature that enables specific characters to stick to where they are employed. For example in the picture above you can see a waiter who sticks to the Cafe scene.
We also have market workers who stand behind their stalls. This really lends itself to having a large population of characters with different jobs and personalities.
This is actually achieved by implementing a BoxCollider with a hidden renderer. When these particular characters look for a new location they limit their choice to the area around their place of employment.
